If you’re looking for a horse that will take you r trail riding experience to the next level, meet Comanche Moon.

The spitting image of his sire, Stetson, Comanche is a striking black sabino gelding with the looks, athleticism, and attitude that Smokey Valley performance trail horses are known for. Bred specifically for the trail, he possesses a huge ground covering stride that improves ride quality, a large motor, and the natural ability to travel effortlessly over miles of terrain.

Comanche absolutely comes alive on the trail. He loves having a job to do, enjoys new challenges, and is always eager to see what’s around the next bend. Whether you’re exploring new country, climbing steep ridges, crossing creeks, or navigating obstacles, Comanche approaches each ride with enthusiasm and confidence.

One of his best qualities is his versatility. He is excellent riding out alone and will confidently go wherever you point him. He is equally comfortable riding in a group and gets along well with other horses on the trail. He is also very good at ponying other horses and handles the responsibility with ease.

At Smokey Valley Farms, Comanche is ridden extensively 5 days a week to keep him conditioned and progressing in his training. He is already showing tremendous promise as a performance trail horse and has all the tools to excel for the avid trail rider or for someone who would like to utilize Comanche competitively.

Comanche is not a lazy horse, and that’s exactly what makes him so much fun! He is an athletic horse that is ready to go somewhere. If you want a horse with personality, looks, and the ability to leave the boring slower nose to tail pace behind, Comanche Moon is ready to deliver!
